Just now, in the main campus cafeteria...
KATIE
(Sitting alone at a rather large table, eating and studying.)
UNDERGRAD #1
We could sit with that girl. (Indicates Katie.) She has room at her table.
UNDERGRAD #2
No, look. She's older. She's wearing wedding rings. I don't want to sit with her.

Apparently, I look old enough to also be deaf. At least she didn't see the elastic waistband.
3 Readers rock!:
Console yourself.
In a few months you won't be able to wear your wedding ring ;-)
I jest, and really hope you enjoy your pregnancy. My wife really enjoyed being pregnant with our 3 kids and misses it!
Things have changed a lot since I was an undergrad in the seventies.
Back then, we would not have been checking out your fingers.
Peace,
Pennsy
(who has never regretted sharing a table with Katie!)
Ok, I confess! That day at Panera I was thinking the same thing; I was just too embaressed to be seen with such an old lady! :) Love you!
