Jury Non-Duty

Tomorrow is the last day that I am eligible for Jury Duty and I have not been called. HA!! I was called for the entire month, was only available to work 8 days, and was never, ever called in to do so. I declare: Jury Duty is awesome.

I actually would have liked to go in for one day. I think it would have been interesting to see what the process is like and what the inside of a courtroom looks like. Alas, 'twas not to be. I am not complaining, though - I would rather that than be on some insane murder trial that took all month and required sequestration from society and all that. Yikes!

Tomorrow is the last day of summer for me and my class! We start 3rd Year Orientation on Thursday! Woo hoo! My day tomorrow will consist of sleeping in, maybe a mid-morning nap, a trip to the License Branch to get a sticker for my car, an afternoon nap, and dinner at a friend's house.

Maybe summer will just stay...
