Explanation

I haven't been writing much lately. Here's one reason why:

Colin is essentially crawling, which just blows my little mind. The fact that he's crawling means that every single second that he is awake I am fretting. I spend most of the time on the floor with him, either keeping him from eating the rugs or wiping up the regurgitated green beans or maybe just throwing my arm out when he gets ambitious and army crawls himself into a chair or table leg. I'm here to help, really.

Anyway, once we get some baby gates set up, I should be able to write more. Until then, you can find me on the floor, about 10 inches from the baby, with a rag in one hand and a pleased but also worried expression on my face. Motherhood is so complicated.
