Today is the day where I will learn all of Pathology. Or so it feels. And hopefully learn all of it. For I am SO behind and SO not prepared for Monday's exam and FLIPPING OUT. This morning I had a bit of a meltdown because I was late for a small group session. Normally, no big deal. Today, MELTDOWN.
You know, the usual.
The secret weapon to surviving all of this madness is my classmates. After small group I went to the computer/printer lab and ran into about 10 classmates. They all swore that they were MUCH farther behind that I am and that I might as well go ahead and take the exam now because I am so ahead of them. I don't believe this for a second, but it's so nice to hear.
So: I'm off to learn Pathology. Included on my exam are blood problems, the heart (which I pretty much think is magic and would love for my knowledge to stay at that level), and neoplasia/cancer stuff. If any of you fine, lovely readers have any mnemonics or tricks or special powers, please send 'em on over. For you lucky non-medical types, send me good thoughts! Like the ones that help me concentrate and not check facebook or my blogs every half hour. Or caffeine.
On a completely unrelated note, today is the last day of NaBloPoMo (as it is the last day of said Mo)! Yay I did it and posted every single day in November!
On another completely unrelated note, I am currently winning all three of my scrabble games on facebook. The world does not stand a CHANCE against me!
Also, I fell down on some ice today. I think it's the first ice in the entire northern hemisphere - I found it and hurled my butt upon it. So, actually, maybe the world and I are even.
