Why do babies not come standard issue with a crib, bassinet, changing table, and nursery accessories? Because they don't, I have spent ALL DAY today on the internet looking at cribs and agonizing over which print of little elephants to get.
Don't think I'm complaining, but it's a little odd that less than a week ago I was learning how to treat heart failure and shock. Now I'm obsessing over nursery details.
Oh, life.

Ooooh, it's just the start!
What do you hasve around the baby's nursery? A calm, plain environment that's peaceful and relaxing, aiding baby's sleep?
Blackout blinds and trappings of routine that adherents to Gina Ford kit the nursery out with?
Newborn like black and white and red and bold shapes, do you get pictures like this? They can't see far (clearly) so it'd need to be adjacent to the cot.
Or go for colour and shape and movement that's stimulating and interesting and engaging, like a mobile hanging over the cot?
So many choices, so many decisions :-)
