Ailment

I have been positively aching to write all about what we've been up to for the last five days. We have had such fun over this holiday weekend. I had a long post all drafted up and was working on uploading the pictures to accompany.

Then I developed a raging sore throat, full body aches, fever, headache, cervical lymphadenopathy (the lymph nodes in my neck are swollen and hurt), and some other fun symptoms. I haven't been sick - aside from the pregnancy issues - in years, and I'd forgotten how much it knocks the wind out of your sails. I barely moved all day and am exhausted tonight.

I will write all about our fun-filled birthdays and adventures with the fams tomorrow. For tonight, I am going to make sure Patrick is still alive (he's come down with the same thing) and head to bed.
