Adult-ing

Just recently - like, REALLY recently - I started my first attending position and started seeing patients.

Do you know what that means? Do you understand the gravity of that statement? I'm sure you do, but let me just highlight a few things.

First, I am officially, no question about it, a grown up now. I have my grown up job, I live in a grown up house, I regularly attempt to parent growing up children, and people expect me to adult on a regular basis.

Which brings me to point #2: patients are now trusting me to be their real life doctor. They ask me questions and want advice
